E cubed Goals has issued an international news release titled "E cubed Goals Co. and Waseda University Present—New Framework for the Safe Recycling of Lithium-Ion Batteries."
TE-Cubed Goals Co., Ltd. has announced the global rollout of a next-generation, innovative technology for the safe neutralization, processing, and complete recycling of ternary (NMC) lithium-ion batteries, developed through a joint research project with the laboratory of Professor Hiroshi Onoda at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Environment and Energy Engineering. This technology resolves one of the most serious and long-standing safety challenges hindering the global transition to green energy: the risk of explosion during battery processing.
In addition to a domestic patent application (Patent Application No. 2025-062818), an international patent application (PCT/JP2025/020863) has been filed for this technology.
This announcement has generated a significant response, garnering coverage from major media outlets—including the Associated Press (AP) in the US, UK, and EU, as well as the UK’s Daily—and appearing in a total of 258 overseas media outlets.
