GasHeru ®
GasHeru® Thin-film Solar System for Trucks
This system utilizes thin-film solar panels installed on the roofs of transport trucks to charge the onboard lead-acid batteries directly. By stabilizing the battery voltage, the system reduces the operation of the alternator (generator)—which normally runs automatically while the vehicle is in motion—thereby easing the load on the engine and enabling a significant reduction in fuel consumption.
Proof-of-Concept (PoC) testing has confirmed a fuel consumption reduction of over 10%, marking a major contribution to lowering CO₂ emissions in the trucking industry. Furthermore, the CO₂ emission credits generated through the adoption of this technology can be traded on the market, creating new economic value.
