Representative Director and CEO

A native of Kumamoto Prefecture, he graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Kumamoto University’s Faculty of Engineering. In 1980, he joined Omron Corporation (formerly Tateisi Electronics Co.), where he specialized in sensor and recognition technologies and engaged in the development of financial equipment.
At Omron, he developed technology for identifying banknotes from around the world, contributing significantly to the global rollout of ATMs. In 2004, he played a key role in establishing Hitachi-Omron Terminal Solutions, Corp. (currently Hitachi Channel Solutions, Corp.), a joint venture merging the financial equipment businesses of Hitachi and Omron. Leading a team of nearly 400 Omron employees to the new venture, he spearheaded the creation of an organizational foundation—laying the groundwork for what would become modern "work-style reform"—and dedicated himself to nurturing young talent.
He was appointed Senior Managing Executive Officer in 2012, contributing to improved business performance.
From 2020, he supported management as an advisor.
He stepped down as advisor in November 2024 and assumed the role of CEO and Representative Director of E cubed Goals Co., Ltd. in February 2025.

A native of Kumamoto Prefecture, he graduated from the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Yatsushiro National College of Technology and joined Hitachi, Ltd. in 1980. He was involved in the development of financial terminals, including ATMs, and later served as a sales manager handling numerous large-scale system projects for the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (now Japan Post Group).
In 2010, he transferred to Hitachi Channel Solutions, Corp., and in 2012, he was assigned to a post in China.
There, he engaged in overseas business operations as the General Manager of the Planning Division for a subsidiary.
In 2015, he joined Japan Post Bank, where he served as a General Manager in charge of system development.
Subsequently, he held a variety of positions, including Planning Department Manager at First-Com Co., Ltd., Advisor at Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., and Head of the President's Office at PJPEye Inc.

Toyota Motor Corporation (1975–2015)
Joined Toyota Motor Corporation in 1975. Throughout his tenure, he worked on the development of numerous prototype vehicles—serving in roles ranging from vehicle performance development and on-road evaluation to test driving—and supported the company’s signature "driving feel" by pursuing superior handling and ride comfort through a hands-on, field-oriented approach.
Notably, during the 2005 World Expo (Expo 2005 Aichi), he served as the development and maintenance leader for the futuristic "i-unit" mobility vehicle, contributing to the realization of next-generation urban transport that fused innovative design with electric technology.
Toyoda Trike Co., Ltd. (2016–2023)
After leaving Toyota, he shifted his focus to the personal mobility sector, aiming to integrate technology with solutions for social issues. Joining Toyoda Trike Co., Ltd. in 2016, he served as General Manager of Development and led the creation of the "TOYODA TRIKE OMEGA," an electric three-wheeled bicycle featuring an independent front-wheel suspension structure. He dedicated himself to developing mobility solutions designed to support the elderly, people with disabilities, and families raising children.
He also spearheaded the application of technology to address local community challenges, such as planning and manufacturing tourist-oriented bicycle taxis in collaboration with Sakai City, and developing disaster-relief mobility vehicles jointly with the Sakai City Fire Bureau.
E-Tech Co., Ltd. (2024–Present)
In 2024, he assumed the role of Director at E-Tech Co., Ltd., a new company dedicated to socially beneficial business initiatives. Born in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture. After graduating from Kumamoto Gakuen University in 2003, he gained experience in sales and business development at a telecommunications company. In 2006, he joined the family business, Yoko Riken Co., Ltd. He immersed himself in every aspect of the company—from frontline operations to executive management—and, after 11 years of practical experience, spearheaded a major business transformation. In 2017, the company was renamed Yoko Co., Ltd.; he opened a Fukuoka branch and assumed the role of Representative Director.
He radically restructured his father’s scientific instrument sales business. Operating out of Kumamoto and Kitakyushu, he evolved the company into a unique business model that integrates trading functions with consulting, DX (Digital Transformation) implementation, and operational outsourcing. Moving beyond mere product sales, he established a system to structurally analyze operational challenges and resolve them through systemic solutions.
While maintaining a foundation in the procurement of a wide range of products—including scientific instruments, reagents, office equipment, factory supplies, and furniture—he expanded the scope of support to include food hygiene management, factory and laboratory layout design, human resource and organizational development, and operational process design. Furthermore, he drives "field-driven DX" by leveraging IoT, cameras, robotics, and cloud integration. Through a "hands-on partnership" approach—managing everything from implementation design to operational adoption—he delivers improvements characterized by visualization, standardization, and reproducibility, thereby boosting client productivity and eliminating reliance on specific individuals' tacit knowledge.

Ahmed brings over 15 years of business experience across Japan and Africa, including a decade in the energy storage sector. At E-Cubed Goals, he leverages his expertise and passion to advance initiatives for a sustainable future and contribute to Africa's economic development.

Completed the doctoral program at the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University, in March 2006; holds a Ph.D. in Engineering. Served as a Lecturer at the Waseda University Research Center for Environment and Energy (April 2006–March 2008) and as an Associate Professor (April 2008–March 2014). Subsequently served as an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Environment and Energy, Waseda University (April 2014–March 2017) and has served as a Professor there since April 2017. Has served as Dean of the Graduate School of Environment and Energy, Waseda University, since September 2022. A native of Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, he graduated from the Department of Precision Engineering at the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Engineering and subsequently entered the university's Graduate School of Engineering. After leaving graduate school, he began his career as a systems engineer in 2000 as a founding member of Fractal Communications Co., Ltd. Over the next 16 years, he gained comprehensive experience in end-to-end system development—spanning from initial planning to final implementation—across a wide range of sectors, including mobile web services, e-commerce sites, and product and membership management systems.
After qualifying as a patent attorney in 2016, he worked at Ashida & Kimura International Patent Office and Ito International Patent Office. There, he handled tasks such as drafting patent specifications, managing prosecution (office action responses), preparing expert opinions, and securing standard-essential patents, primarily in the software field but also in areas including electronics, mechanics, and telecommunications.
Leveraging his expertise as a patent attorney and his background as an engineer, he has served as the Group Leader of the Intellectual Property Group at Yayoi Co., Ltd. since January 2023. Additionally, in August 2024, he established IP Rich International Patent Office. As the head patent attorney, he supports the management of companies of various sizes and industries by providing intellectual property consultations and facilitating the acquisition of rights and monetization of IP assets. He has handled the drafting of over 300 patent specifications to date, delivering services that combine advanced technical expertise with legal knowledge to major domestic and international clients.

After becoming a company director, expanded operations beyond mere product transport by launching an industrial waste collection and transportation business aimed at creating a waste recycling loop.
Following the devastating impact of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, launched a power generation business in 2013 by installing a 2.5-megawatt solar power plant utilizing warehouse rooftops and unused land.
