On June 26, 2025, E ｃubed Goals Corp. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toshiya Hamasaki) announced its new technology, “Deactivation and Safe, Complete Disposal of Ternary Lithium-Ion Batteries.” This breakthrough has attracted significant attention, being featured in more than 110 media outlets, including The Nikkei, The Mainichi Shimbun, numerous regional newspapers, and specialized industry journals
Furthermore, on September 25, 2025, an experiment demonstrating this technology and an interview with CEO Hamasaki were broadcast on NHK’s “Shutoken Network,” drawing even greater public interest.
This technology is being developed through joint research with Professor Hiroshi Onoda’s Laboratory at the Graduate School of Environment and Energy Engineering, Waseda University (Shinjuku-ku,Tokyo).
