E cubed Goals Corp. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), led by President and CEO Toshiya Hamasaki, announced that it has established a groundbreaking technology in collaboration with Professor Hiroshi Onoda’s Laboratory at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Environment and Energy Engineering (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo). This technology enables the neutralization and safe, complete disposal of ternary lithium-ion batteries.
This innovation provides a solution to the pressing social issues surrounding the disposal of lithium-ion batteries, which have been associated with incidents of explosions and fires.
In addition to filing a domestic patent application [Patent Application No. 2025-062818], the company has also applied for an international patent [PCT/JP2025/020863].
